Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer and animal rights activist. Her name is well-known for films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). New York was her home and she was brought up in a creative environment. She started as a photographic assistant before moving on to acting and modeling. MacGraw was noticed in two of her films and received Golden Globe Award for Most promising newcomer. MacGraw became a household name in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was selected for the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three years, she had been voted as the most popular female box-office participant in the entire world. In 1972, her foot-prints as well as autograph was recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other films she has appeared in include The Getaway Convoy Players as in the mini-series on TV The Winds of War. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
