Adelaide Clemens

Brisbane in Australia is my birthplace and where I was raised. Daughter of an English father. Clemens began her career on Australian television while in high school. She starred as Juliet on one episode of Blue Water High in 2006 and also acted in the role of Alison on the Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji children's television show in 2007. Clemens was awarded the Graham Kennedy Award in 2008 at the Logie Awards, for playing Harper. Clemens was in the 2008 MTV Networks Australia dramatic film Dream Life alongside Sigrid Thornton Xavier Samuel Linda Cropper and Andrew McFarlane.She played small roles on the television show All Saints and the film X-Men Origins: Wolverine in the year 2009. Then, in 2009, she became the model for Jan Logan's jewellery. Clemens moved to Los Angeles California. Clemens played Xandrie on the 2010 film Wasted on the Young. Clemens played alongside Gregg Sulkin in Camilla Dickinson, alongside Cary Elwes, Samantha Mathis and Cary Elwes. The drama was adapted from the 1951 novel by Madeleine L'Engle, a young adult novelist. In Silent Hill: Revelation 3D she played teenager Heather Mason. The horror film was based on the survival horror game Silent Hill 3 and was a sequel to Silent Hill.That year Clemens also played a lead part as a young suffragette Valentine Wannop in Parade's End an adaptation for television of the Ford Madox Ford tetra-logy co-produced by HBO and BBC Two. Clemens performed the role of lead in No One Lives, a 2012 horror film starring Luke Evans. In 2013, Clemens made an appearance as a character in The Great Gatsby, based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel of the same name. Catherine Wilson played Isla's younger sister. Clemens plays Tawney Talbot on the 2013 Sundance Channel television mini-series Rectify developed by Ray McKinnon. Natalie Dormer Stephen Graham Zachary Quinto and Clemens are set to appear in The Girl Who Invented Kissing which is an independent film.
