Selena Gomez - an international actress and performer - is well-known worldwide. She is the star of Disney show Wizards of Waverly Place is one of her most successful shows. Her full name is Selena Marie Gomez. Selena Gomez, born the city of Grand Prairie in Texas on July 22 the 22nd of July, 1992. Amanda Cornett is her mother and Ricardo Gomez is her father. Selena's mom was only 16 when Selena first came to the scene. She got her first stage show job at the age of nine when she played Gianna in Barney and her Friends. As a result, she was a part of one of history's most anthropomorphic and red dinosaurs. Selena performed for many seasons of seasons 7 and 8, between 2001 to 2003. Selena Gomez wasn't the only singer who sang in Barney And His Friends from 2001 to the year 2003. Demi Lorvato joined the group also. Selena Gomez tried out for many roles after leaving Barney and Friends however, she failed. Her role was only a tiny one in the 2003 movie Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over) and another like Julie in Walker Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire. She was also cast as Emily Grace Garcia, a character she created a musical for in 2006's Brain Zapped.
