Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen, an American performer and songwriter, hails from St. Louis Missouri. Her most well-known work is her part as Jenny Humphrey on the CW show Gossip Girl and as the leader of the rock group The Pretty Reckless. Songs by Momsen have appeared in films and shows including How to Be Solo Going the Distance as well as Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen's younger sister Sloane Momsen also works as an actor. She trained in dance in the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. At just three, Momsen acted professionally in a Shake 'n Bake commercial on national television in 1997. Momsen's acting career came to a slow halt for three years until she received her first lead role on the WB show Misconceptions. Momsen also appeared at the moment in the film Saving Shiloh (2006). Additionally, she auditioned for the role of lead in Hannah Montana. She was in the top 3 but Miley got the role.
