Luciana Paoluzzi grew up living in Rome along with her family. Luciana Paoluzzi's father is an Italian army officer. Maria Rota Paoluzzi's mother was a former mistress of Benito Mussolini. She does not have any known siblings. She attended a local high school. Upon matriculating in 1955 she studied marine engineering in the Scientific Academy of Milan - Luciana was the only female in the class. Luciana started out as fashion models after only two years. The direction of her career was changed following, and by luck, she was offered her first part as a character in Three Coins in the Fountain. Her first marriage was with Brett Halsey who is also an actor. They got married in 1960 and filmed the film Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana was granted custody following divorce. They welcomed a baby boy called Charles which was born June of 1961. Luciana as well as Tony had a relationship between 1962-1970. Tony Athony played an actor and producer who was influenced by Luciana's contribution to the film Green Slime. Based on the film, he wrote and composed The Spaghetti Western hybrid that became popular.
