Cecily Legler Strong, an American stand-up comedian and actor is well known for her work in the role of a cast member on 'Saturday Night Live.' Her first stage experience was in theater, but was drawn to comedy when she was nine after a class in Improv. She had a dream of making acting her profession however, she soon realized that she was in the right place for comedy. She then shifted her focus on improv shows. She began her career performing on cruise ships with fellow crew members from Second City Conservatory and iO Chicago. Strong continued to appear at prominent events, such as Chicago Sketch Fest, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New York Sketchfest, and Virgin Daiquiri The only female improv group. The actress became a household name in 2012 after she appeared at the end of "Saturday Night Live" during its 39th season, as a cast member as a co-anchor on Weekend Update with Seth Meyers at first and Colin Jost later. Cecily's character from "The Girls You Wouldn't start a conversation with during a party' was the most memorable moment in her series. The same year, she made her film debut with 'How To Fund a Uterus. The actress has spoken out against the treatment of women in the show business in the form of bikini models rather as strong characters in mainstream movies.
