Durrani Popal relocated to Los Angeles after graduating with the goal of becoming well-known in Los Angeles. She was selected to take on the position as merchandising director at the DASH store in Calabasas. The store was moved into West Hollywood, California, in 2012. In 2014, she began working at the temporary Southampton shop located in New York. The show was a spin-off show "Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons" while she was employed there. There was a belief that the producers wanted discover how the public would react to the possibility of a spin-off after introducing the DASH team. Popal's colleagues and Popal were portrayed in the TV show 'Dash Dolls'. Durrani Popal is often referred to Kim Kardashian's model. She is influenced by Kim's style, and regards her as an inspiration.
